Step1- Collection details



To upload an API collection to the BugDazz API Scanner, follow these steps:

1. Click on Upload Collection and choose the API collection file you wish to upload. Once uploaded, the collection title (which defaults to the file name), description, and base URL (if available in the collection) will automatically appear but can be edited as needed.
2. Select the type of scan—Authenticated or Unauthenticated. The choice of scan type will determine which test case templates the scanner uses to evaluate your API.
3. Choose the authentication type that matches your application’s configuration to ensure the scanner correctly accesses and evaluates the API.
4. Click Next to proceed to Step 2 of the setup.
