Install BugDazz API scanner on Windows
| Caution: If you install the BugDazz API Scanner on a system that already has an existing setup and is currently running a scan, the installation process will terminate all other ongoing scan processes. This may result in the loss of scan data. |
Download BugDazz API scanner MSI File
Download the installer from the Securelayer7 Downloads site.
Start API scanner Installation
- Navigate to the folder where you downloaded the installer.
- Next, double-click the file name (e.g BugDazz API scanner x.x) to start the installation process.
Complete the Windows InstallShield Wizard
- First, the Windows defender screen appears. Click More info to continue.
- On the License Agreement screen, read the terms of the BugDazz API scanner software license and subscription agreement.
- Select the I accept the terms of the license agreement option, and then click Next.
- On the Destination Folder screen, select the Next button to accept the default installation folder. Otherwise, select the Change button to install Scanner to a different folder.
- On the Ready to Install the Program screen, select the Install button.
The Installation screen appears and a Status indication bar shows the installation progress. The process may take several minutes.
After the Installation completes, the Welcome to BugDazz API scanner page loads in your default browser.
If the page does not load, do one of the following steps to open BugDazz API scanner in your browser.
To access a locally installed scanner instance, go to https://localhost:9090 on a local browser (latest version of chrome recommended)
